More than a program for timing how long you spend on a particular job. WorkTime goes a bit further. Not only does WorkTime shows how long you spend on any job, it also shows the labour costs as you work. Yes, as the clock counts up, so does the cost of the labour. Now you do not need to get out a calculator to work out labour costs from time spent. WorkTime does it for you as it runs! By just changing the hourly rate it is automatically saved for future use.
Screen layout
Title Bar
WorkRate can be moved around the screen by dragging the Title Bar with your mouse.
Start
The Start button starts to time and price a work session.
Stop
The Stop button stops the current session.
Resume
The Resume button continues the last stopped session and adds to the total.
Simple mode
Clicking the arrow toggles between advanced and simple modes.
Price
The value of work done.
Start Time
The time the session started.
End Time
The time the session stopped.
Duration
The length of the session.
Currency
By double clicking the 'Rate' label you can enter and save your own currency symbol, eg. $.
Hourly Rate
Type your hourly rate in the box and it will be automatically saved.
URL
Double click the URL to open SignPig.com in your browser.
Always On Top
Option to have WorkRate 'Always On Top' of other programs running at the same time.
Minimize window
Clicking the Minimise window button will minimize the program to your task bar. If a session is in progress, the Price will display in the task bar.
Close
Clicking the Close button terminates the program. Before the program closes, you have the option of saving the session to continue at a later time.
